SENT COMMUNITIES
We gather weekly on Sundays as a whole church and then scatter throughout the week to live in community on mission together where God has placed us…where we live, work, and play.
We call these Sent Communities.
WHAT IS A SENT COMMUNITY?
A family of missionary, servants sent as disciples to make disciples. They are pockets of Christians on a mission to a particular people/neighborhood to whom God has sent them.
What is the purpose of a Sent Community?
They exist to glorify God by making disciples together. God did not intend for us to go through the Chrisitan life alone. We get the joy of living out the mission God has called us to together as a diverse people. And we want to invite the people God sends us to to join through disciple-making.

Sent Church Worship Location
Magnolia Group
All of our Sent Communities are organized geographically for the purpose of connecting lives and multiplying the mission. We want this to be our pattern. However, if you need to meet with another group for scheduling reasons, we’ll help you get connected with them.
Please email pastor Stephen (stephen@sentcharlotte.org) and he will help you get connected to a Sent Community.
SENT KIDS
The goal of Sent Kids is to share the gospel with children to show them that Jesus saves us so that we might live as sent ones in the world.
Every parent that brings their children to Sent Kids asks at least three questions:
Gospel Centrality
Jesus was sent to earth to forgive and save rebellious sinners like us. Any who place their faith in the finished work of Jesus can have new, abundant, and eternal life. This gospel is the best news on the planet. And this gospel is central to all we do at Sent Church.
Will My Child be Safe?
The safety and care of your child is our highest priority. For this reason, we have appropriately qualified leaders who have been assessed and trained to work with children. If your little one should need you, we will flash the child’s number from your parent receipt up on the screen during the service. No one is allowed into the Sent Kids area without proper identification or a parent receipt. Click here for more information on Sent Kids Safety.
Will My Child Have Fun?
Each week, our volunteers work to provide an exciting, nurturing and intentional environment for our children. Through creative teaching, crafts and other avenues, our leaders help children enjoy learning about Jesus from the Bible. Your children will have a great time at Sent Kids.
What Will My Child Learn?
The goal of Sent Kids is to partner with parents to show children that Jesus is the only one in this life who can save them from themselves. He alone gives new, abundant, and eternal life. We want to teach them about Jesus through biblically faithful, age-appropriate teaching that centers on the person and work of Jesus as the centerpiece of God’s story. We will seek to do that each and every week they are with us in Sent Kids.
SENT STUDENTS
Sent Students exist to equip Middle and High school students to discover, walk with, and share Jesus. During this pivotal season of life we help our students by rooting them in the word of God, surround them with a community of believers that will invest in them, and partner with parents to continue the discipleship of their students.
